The City of Sunset Valley is in the process of planning the next 5-year round of Capital Improvement Projects. This includes water and wastewater projects, street and drainage projects, as well as park projects. This is a community based planning process to determine the next round of community investments the City will undertake between fiscal year 2027 and 2031. Below are a list of proposed projects under consideration. Please leave comments on any of the projects listed or provide your suggestions for other projects.
Proposed Water and Wastewater Projects
- Stearns Lane Phase 2 Waterline-From the Lift Station to City Limits
- Stearns Lane Wastewater Projects=Force Main, 290 to Lift Station, Check Valves
- Waterline Interconnects-Lone Oak Trail to Pillow Road, Pillow Road to Reese Drive

- Jones Road Trail from City Hall to Ernest Robles Way

- Brodie Lane Pedestrian Improvements from HWY 290 to Home Depot BLVD
